COLOR DETAILS: Superior grade is consistent red throughout, Knotty Alder has more color variation, as well as dark streaks and other character marks.

Because of its grain pattern, alder is frequently used as a substitute for walnut and cherry. Knotty alder mouldings are commonly used in both high end homes as well as rustic cabins. Superior Alder Mouldings are also very popular in residential and commercial applications. Our alder moldings are milled to your specifications within a tolerance of .006" (less than the thickness of a human hair!) using a state of the art Weinig Moulder. Because we run all of our alder s4s through the moulder, we offer our alder mouldings at the same price our alder dimension products. We also sell T&G panels, faux alder box beams as well as alder flooring.
